...or, if your CSA, week after week, hands you lots and lots and lots of carrots: Make spicy pickled carrots! Yum-yum! I used this recipe, from the Smitten Kitchen blog (which I lurve, by the way--check out the peach and creme fraiche recipe on there today).
my hubby makes pickled carrots! he does the HOT version with jalopenas (i KNOW that's not the right spelling..it totally escapes me right now...). I don't eat any pickles but my grandmother's sweet pickles, made the old crock way...
