A Year Later...
It has been one year since my father passed away...it seems like much longer, somehow (I think loss/grief alters time in some way, yes?). He loved us fiercely and was fiercely loved in return, and he is greatly missed.
The Great 2010 China Holiday Blog-0-Rama will start up again on Monday, once my jet lag wears off...stay tuned!
I remember someone telling me that we never really get over losing these loves from our lives. We just learn to place it where it needs to be. That's what I try to go with; some days are easier than others.
What a beautiful post, dear girl...and I fully agree that grief and loss alter time and the balance of things in general. It is an odd and inescapable thing...
Yes, his love for us defied words. We were so blessed to have him in our life. XOXOXO

ReplyDeleteLove to you and your family. xxx
The ache gets less but the missing doesn't go away. Knowing he loved you will hold you all your life.
