Check out Miss Bee here...she has been frolicking about in something with LOTS of bright yellow pollen...she's covered all over with a fine yellow fuzz and her pollen sacs are utterly overflowing. It's marvelous! Go bees, go go GO!

A cute little owl family...made by me for the darling and sweet baby who lives next door to me, for her first birthday. They're pretty cute, if I do say so myself...

Here they are, ready to go off to their new home (I had to miss the party because I've had the flu all weekend, boo...).

I derive MUCH satisfaction from hand sewing...I feel as if I could just sit and do it all day (born in the wrong era, I swear! BTW, I wonder if Jane Austen would blog were she alive today...) Now I must get started on making some things for my sweet and darling great-niece--her first birthday is coming right up!

I just came upon her, in her baby bed, with her foot over her face. REALLY?!?!! Trying to make me keel over from the cuteness?! Well, it most definitely worked, Miss Tallulah Mae.

Randomly, I present to you: donkeys. I really love them, actually (how cute are they with their fuzzy winter coats?). The one in the top photo totally grabbed my sweater and would NOT let go. I mean, obviously he finally did, but we had quite a tug of war before he conceded my superiority (opposable thumbs and all--ha!).
