Sew Mama Giveaway Day (U.S. Visitors)

Welcome, Sew Mama Sew visitors (and everyone else)! Who doesn't love a chance to win some fun stuff?

For U.S. visitors only--international visitors, please see your giveaway here--I'm offering an envelope chock full o' vintage sewing stuff: what you see above--that brown fabric is actually a skirt that someone started; all you have to do is finish it, or you can repurpose the fabric--plus other bits and bobs I'll add later, PLUS anything (or things) from my Etsy shop, sewbettyanddot, up to $20. I decided to let YOU choose since you can pick your size or something to make for your little ones, etc. You can pick as many things as you like, up to $20. If you win, you'll send me a message telling me what things you'd like and I'll ship them on out to you--please note your prizes must come from sewbettyanddot, my sewing-themed shop only (not my other Etsy shop, though please do check it out, too!). Fun, yes?

Giveaway closes at midnight on Friday, May 16; winner will be chosen by the Random Number Generator.

You don't have to follow/like/friend me--but if you'd like to check out what I'm up to in the social media universe, please feel free!

(If you just want to say "Hi!" or "Pick me!", that's fine too!) Please remember to leave some way for me to contact you should you win. That's it!

  3. Followed several of your pinterest pages - fun! Young Victoria, because I'd just begun learning about actual authentic historical fashion (beyond "oh, that's pretty"), and they got it spot on, down to the odd hairstyles. Can't watch Bonanza or Gunsmoke or any of those without commenting on where they got it right and wrong, which drives my husband crazy (they show old western shows on the wall at our favorite Mexican restaurant, which is in a former movie theater). Mad Men, too - I don't like the show itself (not my style), but the one episode I watched I kept nearly bursting with excitement ("not only is the style right, but that fabric! you can't get that fabric now! that's obviously polyester brocade, it's amazing, either that's a vintage dress in perfect condition or they've got REALLY dedicated costumers!").
