Birds of a Feather, Feathers of a Bird

I believe these to be two different kinds of hawk feathers: maybe red-tailed hawk on left (though I'm not sure) and Cooper's hawk on the right (could be sharp-shinned hawk, too). It always feels like such a gift to find them.

  1. They are so beautiful. We had an eagle flying near our house the other day...wish it would drop a feather...

    1. Correct! Left owl and right hawk. Found these exact two feathers in a park near my home. Hawks have built many nests in the area and owls have inhabited one.
