Birds of a Feather, Feathers of a Bird
I believe these to be two different kinds of hawk feathers: maybe red-tailed hawk on left (though I'm not sure) and Cooper's hawk on the right (could be sharp-shinned hawk, too). It always feels like such a gift to find them.
Correct! Left owl and right hawk. Found these exact two feathers in a park near my home. Hawks have built many nests in the area and owls have inhabited one.
They are so beautiful. We had an eagle flying near our house the other day...wish it would drop a feather...
ReplyDeleteThe two of them would make such pretty babies!
ReplyDeleteBig lover of feathers here! Those are so beautiful! A true foziewisp find there!
