Now You See It, Now You Don't: Cactus Flower

 
I have had this little pot of cacti for at least 10 years, and this is the first time I can ever remember it blooming. Cactus flowers are quite ephemeral: bud appears one day, flower opens the next, it lasts for about another day, and then shrivels up. Lovely!

    Cactus flowers are so beautiful, my foziewisp. You certainly got that "green thumb" from "Him" and Betty Maxine. (Not from me--silk flowers don't even live for me!!!)XOXO
