The Case of the Headless Dove

Cue the spooky music: a headless dove in the fountain!

 The other birds have gathered around in horror!

 Just kidding! This is the first time I have EVER seen a bird stick its head down into the fountain to drink rather than drink from the bubbler...he/she did it repeatedly.

Afterward, the dove threesome (parents and baby?) settled down for a little sunbathing.

P.S. Please excuse the greenish fountain--it has been cleaned! The water is fine but the top grows some muck when it is super hot.
