Above are two wolf eels--the one on the right is pregnant, and apparently being upside down is soothing to her (awww...)

 Jellyfish (they are translucent--they are backlit to highlight their, um, internal organs?.

 

 Love the little fish looking out over whatever that is--it's a live organism (not a "plant,"' in other words) of some sort.

 Wow...

 I love the texture on this dude...

What?!? Dr. Seuss fish...

The Birch Aquarium is lovely and a must-see if you're ever in town--come visit!

The hummingbirds LOVE all of the salvia in the back garden...they will spend 10 minutes visiting almost every flower on the bush. Beautiful!

Tallulah-Palooza Friday

You know what's really fun? First you "steal" the bag, then you carry it off, THEN you play tug of war. THAT is a good time--it has the Tallulah Mae seal of approval!

Usually we get these pretty sunsets in the winter: I guess because it's been extra humid here, this is the reward! (See the teeny tiny moon up there in first photo?)

Bunnies, people!

This was a fun vintage shopping weekend for us: on Saturday, we went to a garage sale up the street. These guys have a yearly garage sale, always filled with fun things...and it was all half price (plus, we're their neighbors and they like us, so prices are always great).

On Sunday we went to the San Diego Vintage Flea Market, only the third one they've had. Lots of fun, nice and small and filled with good things. We're so used to estate and rummage sales that going to a flea market is a different experience. Most of these things will stay with me (mine mine, my precioussss). That bowling pin bracelet--LOVE!
