Big Baby

 

Created by artist John Cerney, this giant twenty-foot-tall baby sits beside the freeway in Goodyear, Arizona. If you are not aware it is there and you drive by it, it is QUITE eye catching!

The same artist did "Cowboy Ruckus," located on the freeway near Vaughn, New Mexico--we saw it on our Route 66 road trip in 2019 (scroll way down to see it in that post).

...who is very teeny-tiny! I love how he/she has their front legs spread out across the gap in the "wood" (and the teeny-tiny fingers kill me!).

On our road trip, we visited my darling lifelong friend and her husband at their cabin in Brown County, Indiana. Their property has a creek on it, which is FULL of geodes! Here are four of them...

I was remiss in not giving a shout-out to Utz for making these adorable pretzels! I mean...cute!

The fall/winter migratory birds are making an appearance. This is a little orange-crowned warbler (whose crown is quite orange indeed).

Early Tuesday a.m. was VERY cloudy, but the clouds did part for a few minutes, enough for me to see this part of the lunar eclipse. I realize it really just looks like a crescent moon, but it really is the eclipse...

This is the moon on Saturday the 5th...I believe that teeny speck at upper right is Jupiter? (Apparently lots of planets can be spotted in November!)
