Tallulah Mae couldn't decide whether she felt like reading about the Tudors--you can never know enough, you know--or watching some Project Runway. In the end, she decided to take a nap instead.

Happy Thanksgiving, y'all. I'm so grateful for absolutely everything and everyone in my life. I'm truly truly blessed.

I made these for a little girl who is about to be a big sister--she's the bigger one protecting and guiding the little one.

So fun to hand sew animals--I could happily do it all day!

(I'm especially proud of the tails, which I came up with myself!)

After a delightful impromptu breakfast yesterday, Miss Robin from Various and Sunday and I made a trip to the nursery--she is beautifying the landscaping of her cool new house.

And a fearless hummingbird was working all the tubular flowers he could find. I will never ever tire of watching (and photographing!) them--or being absolutely amazed that such a creature exists...

Bees and Bird

 This is unusual: TWO bees working the same area. The bees are all over the birds of paradise at the moment. They're getting some sort  of sticky nectar...

And right above them, in this tree, is a lovely little hummingbird--can you see him?

Fungus, Plural

A frolic of fungi? A mob of mushrooms? A tra-la-la of truffles?

What's the word for a gathering of mushrooms/fungi/truffles? (Other than "yum," if they are edible.)
