Mercantile Mix @ Mira-Dera

It was a perfect day at the first-ever Mercantile Mix @ Mira-Dera this past Saturday. Lovely weather, a great mix of vendors, and a wonderful group of visitors. It was great fun to see neighbors and friends, and we all enjoyed the food truck for a yummy lunch. A lot of work, but a heap o'fun, as well.

Thanks to all of you who read this blog who made it over to the sale (and an extra helping of thanks to those of you--you know who you are!--who purchased something from me.) You're all just swell!

And extra extra EXTRA thanks to B., who was of course a huge source of support throughout the process AND extremely helpful (and sweet: Starbucks delivery, twice!) on the day of the event.

Tallulah-Palooza Friday

 A study in relaxation, by Tallulah Mae.

First, create some paw origami (pawagami?).

 Next, studiously ignore the person holding the camera who is hovering over you.

Lastly, shmush your muzzle deep into the side of your bed and drift off...and cross your paws that someone won't come along and kiss kiss kiss you (I can't resist!).

Just a reminder that that is her puppy bed, which we thought we would get rid of once she was no longer so small. Eleven years later, it's still her favorite place, I think...

I (Heart) Felt

The last show-and-tell: felt eyeglass (or pencil) cases and felt needle books.

Whatever isn't done by mid-afternoon tomorrow isn't getting done...I will simply relax and look forward to a fun day on Saturday at the Mercantile Mix. Wish us luck!

Card-o-Rama

I made about 20 greeting cards today (using old cards and adding embellishments--kinda quick and dirty) and some gift tags. I didn't get everything made that I'd hoped to, but I think I have enough to make my table look well populated.

Tomorrow: pricing!

Making Madness

The (somewhat frantic) making continues apace: these are bookmarks to go in the "swag bags" that will be given out to the first 50 visitors to the Mercantile Mix @ Mira-Dera this Saturday (it's from 10 to 3).

Swing on by and pick up a bag filled with goodies!

Yay, Indeed!

From start to finish--the cute "Yay" on the envelope, the sweet little box, "mine" and "theirs" tabs, and the CARDS--my experience with Moo was fantastic. I love these mini-cards so much, I don't really want to give them out to anyone! So cool: 100 mini-cards, 100 different images of items from my two Etsy shops. LOVE!

I had them made to give out at the Mercantile Mix @ Mira-Dera, our fab pop-up shop coming up on Saturday, August 16, from 10 to 3. Get in the mix, as we like to say!
