Low.Ri.Der.
This ultra-cool car was in traffic next to us--low-rider coolness! The driver lowered the back and then the front. Love!

Red Moon
Like millions of others, we stood outside last night for about an hour watching the lunar eclipse. Just beautiful!
My photos are not wonderful, but they're not bad for a Canon Elph with no tripod...if I do say so myself! They're kinda atmospheric...

Roses in the Sunshine
I love how the sun is spotlighting these beauties...and I also love how something took a big bite out of the bottom rose. That's fine, I don't mind sharing--hope it was tasty!

Trug Love
There was some good estate saling this weekend (ahem). One of my purchases was this lovely metal trug. Love it! A great price, as well.
Trug Inspector Tallulah Mae at work... (a bad angle--she looks quite chubby here, which she really is not!).

Old School
Check out this vintage gas pump...love it!
Reminds me of road trips in the Country Squire, listening to the Fifth Dimension on the eight-track...

Pizza + Beer = Yes Please
Home-made pizza (I made the crust, B. did the rest) and a yummy dark beer make for a mighty fine meal, enjoyed while continuing our binge-a-thon of "Game of Thrones." We're almost through Season 3--two more to go!

Avian Visitor
It's been a while since we've had a backyard bird post...there haven't been nearly as many birds in our yard this year, for some reason (boo!).
I think this is a mockingbird (white bands under wings?), but I'm not sure. It was making one call, a loud short "chirrup" sound, not the crazy serenades we think of when we think "mockingbird." Perhaps this is a female?
