Fun Fall Outing 2019!
After an unsuccessful attempt on Sunday, we tried again today. Fun Fall Outing success!
We drove the back way to a farm stand on the outskirts of Escondido. Pumpkin patch is picked over, of course, but there are still gourds aplenty on the ground.
Bees!
Silly photo opportunities!
Squirrelinator! (?)
Then we drove into Escondido for lunch. Twinkle Tub!
This is Blackjack the parrot, hanging out outside a barber shop.
Fun. Fall. Outing! Yay!

Bathing Birds
Now that summer is over, the bird pool parties aren't happening...now there are often solitary birds in the fountain, or pairs. This is a phoebe.
And this is so cool: this is a house finch, but it is an unusual one. House finches most often have red heads/chests, but this is a yellow variant. Cool!

Tallulah-Palooza Friday Throwback: Halloween!
My patient little girl...she would tolerate things on or near her just for a moment, so the photographer (me!) had to be VERY fast! Here she is "enjoying" Halloween over the years. We miss you, Miss Mae!

Autumn Glow
Oh, how I love these October days...warm and breezy. Also: pumpkins!
And my pink muhly grass in bloom, waving in the aforementioned warm breezes.
