Jonesin'
This is the extent of our vintage shopping since January (I think). For people who went to an estate or rummage sale almost every weekend, it's been rough (LOL). But the little bench is sweet, and this is the biggest flower frog I have ever seen.
Can't wait to get out to a rummage sale again...

Bird Ballet
This finch decided to come and investigate the hummingbird feeder. He tried to get some nectar from it, but their beaks are particularly un-pointy, so I don't think he had success.
Then the ballet started...one more arrived.
Then there were three (see the one at bottom?).
Back to two...
The best part is how completely unperturbed the first guy was...he was all, "Yeah, whatevs..."

Dahlia Delightful
The camera can't really capture the true color of this flower...it has made it more red than it actually is. It is really a deep dark purple with almost black highlights. Gorgeous!
With more to come!
This is a different variety getting ready to bloom.
The cancer/COVID dahlia patch is a huge success!

Red Wood
I would venture to guess that only in California can you walk inside a redwood log while getting lumber...

Socially Distanced Yum
Delicious beer from our fave Societe, plus yummy Mexican food from the Fit Tacos food truck (this is a soy chorizo bowl). Yum!

Basil Tree
OK, who brought in this basil tree and put it on my kitchen windowsill?!?
(This was purchased a few weeks ago by B. as he needed fresh basil for a dish and it was just cheaper to buy a living plant.) Never did we think it would turn into this! If grown outside this time of year, basil just bolts (makes flowers), so its been very nice to have fresh basis available all the time.

Dahlia Delight
Here are the first two dahlias that bloomed, cut and in a vase. Dahlias have such a seemingly infinite variety of shapes and colors. So cool!

Rocky
Just some pretty beach pebbles...such an amazing variety.
I am always amazed at how the waves make them perfectly round.
Wonder what this green stone is?
Textures!
And this one, which looks as if someone drew a white X on it (it's in the stone itself).
