Our pomegranate tree is loaded with flowers this year.

Each one a potential fruit!

Alas, there are some flowers--actually, nascent fruit--on the ground, but it does tend to drop some flowers every year. Last year was a terrible year for fruit, as opposed to the previous year where we had lots and lots of HUGE pomegranates. We'll see what the season brings...and we hope the weather cooperates.

They are very pretty baby fruits, like tiny red stars...

 This mockingbird had himself quite a bathing session this afternoon. They don't usually come to the fountain, so it was a treat to watch him.
