 There is so much moisture in the air that we are getting some lovely "winter" sunsets in July...

Hello!

 I'm baaaack! 

Blogging silence due to my computer needing a new hard drive (sad face). Rather than buy a new one, I opted to have mine repaired--I really object to the throwaway attitude towards electronics. I have other devices (phone, tablet), but due to the hell that is passwords and different email accounts associated with various "apps," I was dead in the water. But I'm back! Please enjoy these sweet little dahlias from my garden.

Fun Friday

 

Today I took myself downtown on the trolley to hear the San Diego Symphony in rehearsal at the Rady Shell. They played Beethoven's Seventh, the second movement of which is so beautiful that it brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. An amazing free opportunity to hear classical music in a lovely setting.

Another supermoon, this one is the Buck moon (something to do with male deer's antlers are in "full growth mode" after they are shed in later winter). 

And then it split in two!!!!

Dahlias are SO amazing because the variety of, well, varieties! So many types of petal shapes, etc. I love them so~

Remember the first? These are the last...alas, peony season is over...

I think they were especially lovely this year.
