A rainy morning spent doing some knitting (yes, it IS  a belated Christmas present--don't judge me, y'all) and watching "RuPaul's Drag Race" and "Project Runway Junior." Fun!

Lovely wispy clouds--it almost looks like waves in the ocean (these are from yesterday as today was grey/misty/rainy).

Kiss Me

Look what Santa brought me: lovely luxurious cosmetics from Besame, whose products are made here in the U.S. and are patterned after vintage cosmetics. They are a special treat!

They're re-created a number of lipstick colors from various decades--this one is from 1946 (a lovely red!). And the powder, in that sweet compact!

(Besame [which is missing an accent] means "kiss me" in Spanish, in case you didn't know...)

Yum Yum Yum

A delicious "seasonal ingredients" salad from True Food Kitchen: Brussels sprouts, squash, beans, toasted mulberries, and cauliflower. So yum!

Also, today is my dad's birthday--we miss you, Daddy!
