Purple Haze, 2017 Edition

 The annual wisteria bloom in the 'hood: this year is amazing (once again, we must credit the rain, I think). You can smell this from across the street.

 The bees love it too! In the past there have been bumble bees, but this year I've only seen honeybees. They dive down deep into the flower, so I suspect they are getting nectar, not pollen.

Simply glorious!

Flower-Palooza Friday

 This winter's rains mean FLOWER-GEDDON in the Anza-Borrego Desert! This is described as one of the best blooms in twenty years, so we had to go see it! (On Friday, hence the title of this post--I know it's Tuesday!)
