Getting Our Halloween On

It's that time of year again! I love our collection but am thinking it might be time to weed out some of the collection...we're running out of room!

Amazing

 I have a real soft spot for doves. I find them utterly charming...so gentle and sweet; they are the only birds that park themselves in the dirt or gravel for a little rest. As we know, usually there is a pair of doves, but this one seems to be solitary. He/she was having a marvelous bath, lying right on top of the fountain bubbler for a birdie massage.

 And then, this:

I have NEVER seen a bird do this before! He/she did it more than once, just stretching its wings up like this. So glad to have witnessed it.
