Bee Rescue

 

This poor girl was floating upside down in the fountain--down in the water, not up top where the water bubbles out. After unsuccessfully trying to fish her out with a leaf, I just stuck my hand in and scooped her out. She was a bit discombobulated initially, but after drying her face and antennae and walking around, she opened her wings and was just fine. Yay!

We have the very nicest friends! Lovely flowers, which definitely cheer one up after surgery. Not shown: very nice cards (and ice cream).
