Hawkling?


This gorgeous creature was down quite low in a tree at the park today--there were two other hawks flying above and calling, so I'm thinking maybe this is a fledgling just learning to fly?

Incredibly beautiful. I heart birds!

I love birds, also! Near where my mom lives, they even have some eagles that can be spied occasionally :)
