If there is one thing I LOVE, it's a good vintage sign. If it's a bit decrepit, so much the better! These are all on Route 66 (Central Avenue) in Albuquerque. Most of the motels are abandoned (though not all). I would have so loved to have driven this at night to see any that still light up; alas, it was a bit on the gnarly side, and I didn't really feel safe driving and photographing by myself. Of course, they are made even more photogenic by that fantastic New Mexico sky.
More to come tomorrow!
