A Foziewisp First
Behold: a bird pellet! So cool...found it right in front of our house, under a telephone pole.
For those of you who don't know, a pellet is undigested material that birds of prey regurgitate (it's NOT poop!). You can see here lots of feathers and what may be a tooth? Fascinating! It's probably from a hawk, but it would be cool if it were from an owl! (Doubtful, as I never hear them calling).
Such a foziewisp! BTW, I don't find this gross or disgusting at all--hope you don't either!

I'm an itinerant teacher and a few times I have gone to pick up students from class and they happen to be dissecting owl pellets - I find this sort of thing soooo interesting! I always stay and act as an extra hand for the activity, just so I can participate.
