Carpenter/Flower
So happy to see this lovely carpenter bee. We used to see them all the time, but they seem to be much rarer these days, alas. They are solitary and make nests in wood, bamboo, etc. Love them! They pollinate just like our friends the honeybee girls.
Wildly in love with my husband B., former guardian of the late, lamented Miss Tallulah Mae (the wonder dog), adorer of all canines, dilettantish crafter, obsessed with birds, vintage shopper, lover of libraries, neophyte cellist, and foziewisp.
