The Birds and the Bees, Demonstrated by the Birds (Oh, My!)

 I was watching this bird through my camera--it is obviously a raptor of some sort that I can't quite identify; this tree is the next street over...

When all of a sudden someone else flew in...

This was all very quick (and quiet).

She then proceeded to sit in the tree by herself for another 2 (!) hours.
