Birds of a Feather, Feathers of a Bird
I believe these to be two different kinds of hawk feathers: maybe red-tailed hawk on left (though I'm not sure) and Cooper's hawk on the right (could be sharp-shinned hawk, too). It always feels like such a gift to find them.
Correct! Left owl and right hawk. Found these exact two feathers in a park near my home. Hawks have built many nests in the area and owls have inhabited one.
Wildly in love with my husband B., former guardian of the late, lamented Miss Tallulah Mae (the wonder dog), adorer of all canines, dilettantish crafter, obsessed with birds, vintage shopper, lover of libraries, neophyte cellist, and foziewisp.

They are so beautiful. We had an eagle flying near our house the other day...wish it would drop a feather...
The two of them would make such pretty babies!
Big lover of feathers here! Those are so beautiful! A true foziewisp find there!
