It was a hot day and obviously this guy was making sure his bulldog didn't overheat; they may have been heading for a dog park.

(While it looks as if this is a dog wearing something pink, I think it's something pink in the stroller "reflecting" upward onto the white dog. I'm not sure, because this was taken quickly at a traffic light...)

Fun Fall Outing 2024

 

Every autumn we go for a Fun Fall Outing, preferably somewhere involving a country road and some pumpkins. This year, we drove to Ramona to check out some farm stands. It was fun and a Fall outing)!

Barn Time

 

Another fun little excursion to Brick and Barn in Valley Center: birds, dogs, pumpkins, antiques--what more can you ask for?

This adorable and sweet little guy was a stray in the 'hood. Some kind folks took him to see if he was microchipped (he was not, alas), and then took him to the Humane Society, where he will be very well cared for. I hope his folks find him and take him home! (I love him.)

New Neighbor

 This is Tilly. She is new to our neighborhood and decided to go for a little walkabout. We found her in the street and took her to get her chip scanned. She is now happily reunited with her people. (She is sweet as can be!)

Fun (Mini) Fall Outing

 

Another fun outing to Brick and Barn in Valley Center. A big barn filled with (mostly) vintage stuff, with various vendors outside; on Saturday and Sunday they usually have arts workshops. The people are super nice... 

And there are dogs! This very very shy girl is named Maple Jane, and there are two other dogs named Chucho and Olivia Rose, who is an ADORABLE brindled boxer puppy. A fun time was had by all.

Neighbor Nello

Nello! This adorable and sweet boy lives behind us. Today he got out and went on a bit of a a neighborhood tour. He is now back home safe and sound. Look at that face!

Rescute

 Yesterday was National Rescue Dog Day, so these pix should have been posted last night. No words necessary, just: Tallulah Mae. We miss her so very much.

Really?!

 Would you please look at this cuteness? This sweet (and large) dog was padding around a nursery where we went to order a new fountain for our feathered friends. So sweet, so mellow, so cute.

Speaking of feathered friends...amazing blue feathers when he/she opens his/her wings.
