My Little Tree...
...hangs in there. Our poor Western redbud tree is not well, but I love it so and am overjoyed when it flowers and leafs out every year.

Rosy
It was not a great year for the roses, for some reason...lots of rain early in the year, which I might have thought would make them happy. These are lovely, though, and they smell heavenly.

The Last (Probably)
I cut the first dahlias in the first week of July and now have cut what are probably the last blooms today. Three months of continuous flowers, pretty fab!

Pink in Winter
I love these December roses...they are the very last gasp of blooms before the plants get their winter pruning. (It smells heavenly.)
