Snack Time

 When your sweet husband brings you coffee and a snack...
(I confess to not knowing anything about Paw Patrol, but the cookies are awfully cute!)

Things that Make Me Happy

On a day like today when I'm feeling overwhelming anxiety and sadness, these things--and many other things not pictured here, of course, including my darling husband who is always number one on ANY happiness/gratitude list--always have a way of making me happy!

Coffee, a cookie, and Tallulah Mae for the win!

Birthday Up in Here!

My day started with a kiss from the best husband ever, followed by my mom singing her special birthday song over the phone (no birthday is complete without it!). Yoga, thrift shop, birthday greetings from friends.

Lunch with a sweet friend, macarons (from same sweet friend), a delicious hoppy beer and some guacamole with my honey. Clouds.

Prezzies!

It's my birthday up in here (for a few more hours yet...). Yay!

What's Pink and Chocolate and Yummy All Over?

Do you know what is delicious? This macaron, that's what! It's raspberry and chocolate, and it is ridiculously good--and pretty, too, even in this demolished condition. It's from Bread and Cie, our fave neighborhood bakery/cafe. A good tea time was had by all this week (hi, Vivi! Miss you already!).

Winter Comforts

 Yesterday, on the first really wintry-feeling day...
 I had a baked potato for lunch (I adore them...I want one for my last meal);
 Baked cookies;
And had some tea!

Perfection!

What do YOU do on a wintry day?

Cookies for the Girls

Miss Robin over at Various and Sunday organized a Bake for Hope bake sale on May 9...and the sale raised a whopping $835 for the Susan G. Komen foundation!!! Wow, very impressive, huh? I made chocolate chip cookies for the cause and packaged them like so...
Thanks, Robin, and all of the others nationwide who hosted bake sales for this most important cause...
