Kentucky Girl

Rummage sale finds! (The ceramic dish is by Rosemead and is actually QUITE collectible, unbeknownst to me when I purchased it...for 25 cents!)

I am from Kentucky, BTW, so I will be keeping these and adding them to my own collection.

Quilty Goodness

This is a lovely soft and faded quilt--alas, it's also QUITE ripped up so I will be selling it as a "cutter" quilt. All hand sewn, pretty pastel floral prints...so much work! Hats off the the quilters of yore.

Rummage-o-Rama

Oh, 'twas a good day at the rummage sale today! Lots o'cute stuff (most of which will be for sale, sooner or later, in my Etsy shops).
This box! Hand painted, made in Japan--if that's not Bambi, it's Bambi's brother!
 And a pink velvet interior!
Then there are these two. Love!
He's having a bit of a bad hair day, though...
Free tins! Ten cents for a Bakelite-handled strainer. Fun fun fun!

There is nothing quite like a good church rummage sale. Yee-haw!

Rummaged

It's church rummage sale season--yay!--and I went to three this weekend. This is but a sampling...

The bottom two photos are from a vintage 1972 needlecraft magazine--I am addicted to them and love everything in them! I may have to knit that sweater with the heart (but I'll skip the short shorts and knee socks...they might cause a riot if worn by me).
