Moon/Tree

Another...

...moon photo! This is the third super moon in a row and the first one that has looked even remotely yellow/orange (it is taken rather low in the sky). Where are people seeing those gigantic-looking moons?! (Those are power lines, BTW, not lines across the moon.)

Super, Moon

The Harvest Moon is also a supermoon... super!

A Gift

One of my mourning dove friends left me a present...

Was it this lovely?

Full Moon Sections

The first full moon photo of 2025! That is a power line cutting through the image...I thought it looked kinda cool.

Moon + Venus

Tiny Eclipse

Last night's harvest moon with tiny sliver of a lunar eclipse (bonus telephone wire bisecting it).

More Moon

On its way to being the harvest moon supermoon...

It Never Gets Old...

 ...photographing the moon, that is!

Craters

Strawberry Moon

Finally, no clouds so that we can see the first full moon of the summer!

By the Light of the Slivery Moon

Not the Eclipse...

...but a cool shot of the moon nonetheless. We had about 60 percent totality, and it was quite cool (but hard to photograph without the proper equipment.)

Crescent + Dot

A sweet crescent moon with a planet--Jupiter!--to its left.

The Moon, Again

I never get tired of taking pictures of the moon...even though many of them look exactly alike (LOL)!

Boo!

Hope everyone had a spooky Halloween!
