Pandemica

In these strange times, one finds fun where one can...we found it by going to the South Bay Drive-In (since 1958) to see a filmed concert by Metallica. Pandemica!
I am not a heavy metal fan, really, but I do really like Metallica (I mean, who doesn't?!).

We came, we saw, we (B.) got the t-shirt.

It was a new (and fun) experience!

Glam Church

Doesn't this light fixture look as if it belongs in a bar or restaurant?
It's actually in All Souls' Episcopal Church...
Where I enjoyed a free concert of songs by John Dowland (1563-1626) and Henry Purcell (1659-1695) performed by the Bach Collegium.

Let's Hear (It for) Toy Pianos

Time for the annual Toy Piano Festival at the UCSD Library! It's so much fun...

 Different performers on different instruments...
This is Ryoko Amadee Goguen, who composes pieces for toy piano.
She's accompanied here by Scott Paulson, the mastermind behind the event (and many other fun events).
