Moonshots
Early Tuesday a.m. was VERY cloudy, but the clouds did part for a few minutes, enough for me to see this part of the lunar eclipse. I realize it really just looks like a crescent moon, but it really is the eclipse...This is the moon on Saturday the 5th...I believe that teeny speck at upper right is Jupiter? (Apparently lots of planets can be spotted in November!)

Venus/Moon, Moon/Venus
Sliver of a moon with Venus.
(This is from a couple of weeks ago...there was too much breaking bird news for me to post it until now, LOL.)

Close?
Well, we tried to see comet Neowise a few weeks ago...we drove to the edge of the ocean. Lovely sunset with planet (Jupiter?) visible. We never saw Neowise, although the guys next to us with scopes and fancy cameras definitely had it in their viewfinders. So we sort of saw it? Kinda sorta?
