Whites and Creams and Parchments, Oh My!
So many shades of "white" and "cream." Sigh...
And we chose three of these and painted swatches and they do NOT look like these little pieces of paper. Too many choices in the world...

After the Rains
After the torrential rains we had at the beginning of the week, this bit o'beetle washed out of the downspout. The color really is lovely, isn't it? It looks like an emerald in the rain...

Quilt Love
Amazing handwork (and color placement) in these quilts in an exhibition at the San Diego Museum of Art. The exhibition is titled "Quilts and Color" and is from the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. These are all collected by a couple who then donated them to the museum. Some of them look very modern, but in fact all were made before 1930. Love! The amount of work boggles the mind...
