The members of my funny little vintage made-in-Japan Christmas orchestra seem a wee bit disgruntled......especially this horn player, who seems downright pissed off. Merry Christmas!

Wow
I was gifted these fantastic vintage watering can for my birthday from my very dear friend. It's huge, and I love it.
Not the best photo (oops), but you can see it there on the far right with its smaller brethren. So cool! Thank you, Miss W.!

Stately
My state glass collection is now all free of dust, a project that was WAY overdue!
Most of these were made by the Gay Fad Studios, which opened in Lancaster, Ohio, in 1945. A woman named Fran Taylor was the founder of the business; she had previously had a cottage industry for seven years, working from home, hand decorating home
goods and glassware. Taylor and her
staff applied designs to "blank" glassware from Anchor Hocking, Hazel Atlas, and Federal Glass, among other companies. The business closed in 1962.

Deer Me
So, Christmas is put away for another year.
My vintage collections never fail to make me smile, including this varied assortment of deer. I love them! See you next year!

Christmas Is Coming...
And the crowd of Merry Miniatures is getting very excited...
They live peacefully next to the Christmas trolls, who are also looking forward to Christmas...

Dairy Mart
At Brick and Barn last weekend, we bought this vintage milk bottle (milk and cream bottles being one of our MANY collections)--it is from a dairy (Dairy Mart Farms) that used to be right where we hiked a few weeks ago! So cool! (San Diego had dozens of dairies until the early 1970s...) And the flowers are all from my cutting garden, yay!

J-E-L-L-O
Part of my collection of Jell-O recipe pamphlets...I love the graphics and the lurid colors (lurid, but accurate!). I don't much care for Jell-O myself (except for my Grandma York's black cherry/whipped cream/marshmallow concoction), but I do love these!
