Tallulah-Palooza Friday

 

 

 Tallulah Mae is all, "Whaaaaat....? Nay, say I!"

She rejects the mutant tomato, as do I (the whole plant made nothing but mutants, so it's coming out this weekend).

I Ate Him!

...and he was only "meh." The sandwich, which was enlivened by romaine lettuce, mayo, and cilantro (yes, I'm one of those people who LOVES cilantro), was actually yumalicious!

My Maters

Finally, some tomatoes from my own plants...the weird flat ones at top are an heirloom called Purple Kalabash, and they are freaky: I think there is some sort of pollination problem, because most of them have little knobbly nascent tomatoes on the bottom side. Weird...haven't eaten one yet, so not sure if they even taste good. We shall see!

Also: I didn't intend for this to look this way, but Blogger is not cooperating.
