Musical Hero

 

Tonight we saw Jordi Savall perform--with Hesperion XXI--for the fourth (or fifth?) time, and he never disappoints. He is 83 years old and can still astonish... please go and listen to some of his music.

Last night we went to hear Jordi Savall and Le Concert des Nations performing pieces from Tous les matins du monde (the gateway drug for all things Jordi Savall). Breathtakingly beautiful and exquisite (Maestro Savall has a face that could have easily have been in a Hans Holbein painting.)
