Cheshire cat, is that you? Where's Alice?

Cat/Lizard

 The magnificent Ria...
...and her lizard victim: note the missing foot and tail. But don't feel too sorry for him/her--it still can skitter away in the blink of an eye (whether or not it can still climb, I'm not sure). Poor thing...

Real Ria

I am babysitting the neighbor's cat, Ria, again...she is just so pretty!

The View from Here (a few days ago)

Our feline friend Ria...I never know where I might spot her in our yard. I have never before seen her balancing on the fountain.
 And drinking from the fountain.
We have an agreement: NO catching birds or lizards in the yard!

Grey Day

Study in grey...

(Look how floofy Ria is! It's amazing...there is a little teeny body under all that glorous fur!)

Sweet

Almost every morning, Ria, our neighbor cat, comes and lies between our house and these shrubs. She snoozes, stretches, yawns, meows at us when we say hi...so sweet!

Pretty Kitty

I am watching my neighbor's lovely cat, Ria, for a few days. She is sweet as can be, purrs and meows when I come in.
She is an outdoor cat during the day, however, and she is a bit pissed that for the next couple of days she is an indoor cat during the day.

Hi, Neighbor!

Our gorgeous feline neighbor Ria comes over to visit occasionally...she is like a Slinky, rolling down te steps.

We love her--she is the most dog-like cat ever--she likes to have her belly rubbed!

Pretty girl!

Hypnotist

This is Ria, the next-door cat. I was taking care of her for a few days, and because she is an indoor/outdoor cat who had to be indoors, I think she was trying to mesmerize me into letting her out. It didn't work, but aren't those eyes amazing?

(She is a very sweet cat and no trouble at all to mind.)

Cafe con Cats

My friend D. and I went to the Cat Cafe today, which is exactly what it sounds like: a place where you can drink beverages and pet cats. The cats are all adoptable.

This is a gorgeous Bengal mix.
 This one is called Diva.

They were all very sweet!

My Feline Friend

She was making friends with my concrete bunny...
My next-door neighbor's lovely cat, Ria, likes to visit. She was under the weather recently, so I'm happy to see her out and about again (as long as she doesn't hunt any of my bird or lizard friends!). She's quite pretty, isn't she?

Ria on High

Hello, Ria!

(She's quite small, actually, just super fluffed out here...she is THE funniest cat I've ever known!.)

Cat Confab

OK, now...would you please check out these two? They were simply looking at each other (this is my backyard) while Tallulah went ballistic.

The lovely fluffy grey cat is Ria, who lives next door (and who thinks she's a dog rather than a cat). The utterly stunning Siamese lives one street over. I love them both, though the Siamese ran away when I opened the door...

Cattiness, of the Cute Variety

Ria, the next-door-neighbor cat. I have been taking care of her a few times in the past month.
I'm not a "cat person," per se...
...but she cracks me up!

...lolling on the steps. Bookstore cat!

Birdbath or Cat Drinking Fountain?

Our new next-door neighbors' cat making use of our fountain. It's fine, I guess, but if I find any dead animals in my yard she will be feline non grata...She's quite pretty, isn't she? Sweet, too...

Hello!

 Hello!
Sweet Socks, a cat who lives at the Mission Hills Nursery with her sister, Reina.
Bonus: a chicken (who also lives at the nursery with the cats...peacefully, too!).

Interloper Comma Feline

Tallulah Mae quite frequently goes ballistic at activity in the front of the house: the mailman, other dogs, skateboarders, SKWERL several streets over, floating clouds, UPS truck, dust mote, imaginary dogs, etc. It's rare to hear her barking at the back of the house, but when she does, it's usually because of this: a bold feline intruder. This cat is all, "Whassup?!!!!"
