Perfect

This sign in Lincoln, Nebraska, is a marvel: its position on the building, the fact that it is a No. 2 pencil, and the red neon outline--which still lights up--all combine to make it just fab.

Arnold's Beer

Such a good sign...the colors, the bubbles, the arrow. The neon looks intact, so I do hope it lights up!

Classic

Love this vintage Chinese restaurant sign: the colors and lettering are classic.

Throwback

Fond memories of the Hotel Congress from back in the day (1980s)...always fun to see this sign.

Modern but Cool

Love a good neon sign, including a modern one. This is quite small, but it is a copy (authorized?) of this very large vintage car wash sign in Palm Springs

MOT TRA WIN

This looks like a cool old sign for the Trade Winds Motel...but they need to trim those palms! (I wonder when the neon was removed...)

El Indio

Love these small neon signs that I have never noticed before--even though I have driven by hundreds of times--on El Indio, a classic Mexican restaurant that has been in this spot since 1940.

Parking in Rear

I love this sign: the angle, the fact that "parking" is as prominent as "liquor," and of course, the arrow!

And Stuff

I love everything about this: it's an arrow, it's neon, the palm tree behind...and of course, the "& stuff" part of the name. It's perfect!

'Hood Sign

A cool neon sign in my very own 'hood. I wish they would fix the neon and light this up!

Scenes from Today...

This guy--sort of a homemade Muffler Man?--in Albuquerque...

One of my favorite Muffler Men, holding a small RV, in Hatch...

This dramatic sky, somewhere in Arizona...
And this marvelous sign in Tucson.
