The neighborhood parade, which will never ever lose its charm...

And the "Buck moon" super moon...

Fourth Forth

Time once again for the neighborhood Fourth of July parade. It has gotten quite large, which is fun (I mean, "large" relatively speaking!).
 Our doggie friend Mika.
 A kindred elder dog spirit.
 Mingling.
 Milling.
 Mixing.
On the move!
Tallulah Mae is a spectator. She enjoyed it more this year, I think, because she is now almost completely deaf: no unpleasant scooter/bicycle/skateboard/wagon sounds!

Fun fun! I love our 'hood.

Festive Fourth Fun

Fourth of July, 2015! The 17th annual neighborhood parade...bigger this year than ever (special appearance by the firemen!).

Ice cream--it's the law, you must consume ice cream on a national holiday (well, it's OUR law, anyway!).

Tallulah Mae "enjoying" the parade...the sound of scooters and skateboards kinda drives her nuts, but she stoically endures every year.

Fireworks to come tomorrow (I hope--new computer migration  in progress).

Tallulah-Palooza Friday

"Hurray for the red, white, and blue..." Just not a red, white, and blue bandanna.
The neighborhood parade, which got a last-minute reprieve from not happening. Smaller and a bit more loosely organized, but it DID go on. Yay!
Here's Tallulah Mae enjoying herself at the parade. Not.
Happy Fourth of July! And of course, it goes without saying, Happy Tallulah-Palooza Friday!
