Yolk Lore

A double-yolk egg! It apparently only happens once in 1,000 eggs, and in most cultures, it's considered good luck. Some also believe that it means impending pregnancy--if that happens to me, call the Pope because it would be a true miracle!

And a funny-looking large green egg, too--nah, just fooling (it's an odd avocado [odd-o-cado?], actually, with such a teeny pit). This is actually a picture of lunch! Yum!

Eastery

I dyed eggs using natural materials--coffee grounds/tea leaves (light brown); turmeric (yellow); beets (reddish brown). The yellow eggs are the nicest, although the beet-dyed eggs have an interesting mottled texture.

And the Tallulah bunny, who was not too keen on cooperating at her photo shoot.

Hope you got some fun stuff in your Easter basket!
