Fun at the Fair
...the Los Angeles Printers Fair, that is (at the International Printing Museum in Carson). We attended this in 2019 and were happy to go back again this year. Lots of vendors selling cards, prints, etc., as well as demonstrations of various printing presses at the museum. Great fun!

England 2020: Day 4 (Salisbury to London to Nottingham/Ruddington)
From Salisbury, back to London, to Paddington Station.
Paddington to Nottingham.
We stayed in the historic Lace Market District.
This is St. Peter's, in Ruddington (a village just south of Nottingham). B.'s parents were married here in 1946.
These are the machines...they were knitting stockings, for the most part (and later developed techniques to make lace). These machines make quite a racket...and there were 50 of them in the room at one time.
The best day: our 35th wedding anniversary!
We stayed in the historic Lace Market District.
The view from the stairs by our room on the third floor--and the lift was not working...
St. Mary's (right outside our hotel window).
The Framework Knitters' Museum (in Ruddington). So charming, so informative...
