Be Still, My Heart

Totally unexpectedly, there they were, in Albuquerque. 

(While it looks as if they are captive/behind wire, they were actually standing on a small pile of dirt, which happened to be behind a wire fence meant to contain chickens, I think...)

These pix were shot from across a field, at dusk, BTW...not too bad, fancy camera (which I totally do not know how to properly use yet).

(This is Los Poblanos, a wonderful inn/lavender farm. If you are ever in Albuquerque, go visit--even if you don't stay there, you can eat in their restaurant and shop in their farm shop.)
