Route 66 Road Trip Day 5 (Almost!)
Alamagordo to Roswell today...
The World's Largest Pistachio!
My handsome model is there providing size context.
Vacation means ice cream at 9:30 in the morning!
Three Rivers Petroglyph National Recreation Area. Amazing: more than 21,000 petroglyphs, made by the Mogollon people. on the site.
In Alamagordo...it is a "drive-in" in name only.
Umm...OK.
Gunner's BBQ, out of business...you'd think they might have wanted to take their giant gun along...
Aliens, only $25.00!
Marvelous...ticky-tacky tourist attraction on steroids. Love it!
This is a cool sculpture by Sue Wink outside the Roswell Public Library.
