Flock o' Doves

As I have written about many times before, the sweet doves like to congregate and nestle into the mulch for a little rest. They also do the weird lifting of the wing thing...We love them! 

And then they all were spooked and they--and a dozen of their friends--hung out on the wires. It's a flock of doves! Love them...

...of season. These are late summer roses that smell amazing (especially the darker pink ones...).

Try to Save the Bee

 Well, I tried to save THIS bee: she was in a spider's web and I removed her (the spider was PISSED). She crawled a bit...but then she keeled over. I don't know if it was the stress or if the spider injected her with venom, or what. Boo!

Come and Knock on Our Door

Soooo happy to have a beer (and some tots!) here again...this is one of our favorite "beer joints"!

(The title of the post and name of the establishment is a reference to "Three's Company," BTW...)
