Smell-o-Vision, Please

This is some sort of citrus tree--grapefruit, maybe, but the fruit is HUGE--and the blossoms bowl me over with their sweet fragrance. Breathe deep...ahhh...

Happy 3.14 Day (Pi Day, Pi[e] Day)

Today is Pi Day (3.14....etc.), so I made a pi(e).

This is a delicious (if I do say so myself) and simple buttermilk pie. Highly recommended!

Cat Confab

OK, now...would you please check out these two? They were simply looking at each other (this is my backyard) while Tallulah went ballistic.

The lovely fluffy grey cat is Ria, who lives next door (and who thinks she's a dog rather than a cat). The utterly stunning Siamese lives one street over. I love them both, though the Siamese ran away when I opened the door...

Beachy Birthday

I'm a Pisces, and on my birthday I like to be near the ocean. The surf was especially high this day...the lifeguards made everyone get out of the water. (I was not IN the water, just NEAR the water, FYI).

So lovely (but stinky...hold your nose!).
