When your Be Wise CSA organic strawberries are getting a bit long in the tooth, what do you do? Why, make strawberry shortcake, of course! I used Martha's recipe, and the shortcake itself was absolutely delicious; I plan to make them again with raisins or blueberries in the batter and eat them like scones. And I ask you--what DOESN'T taste better with whipped cream on top?
