I just never get tired of seeing these mature poinsettias in people's gardens...so pretty, and they've been there for some time. I have a feeling today's plants have been bred/hybridized/messed with to the point that they probably won't thrive like these hardier specimens. So cool!

Ventura is the Poinsettia City and you used to see them growing all over.

i thought they were just house plants till i saw a bush twice my height in bloom in costa rica!! gorgeous!
