Byeeeeeee!

The very last sunset of 2020. It has been a rough year, for sure. While we are extremely fortunate in so very many ways--for one thing, the year did start out with a fabulous, unforgettable trip to England for our 35th wedding anniversary--in addition to the world-stopping pandemic, 2020 brought the death of a parent, a recurrence of cancer, and the unexpected loss of a dear friend just a month ago.

Brighter days ahead, we hope: finally a sane (and non-malevolent and non-idiotic) person will be in the White House; the vaccine will mean that we will at last, we hope, be able to travel and gather together; and we will once more have an operating fountain in the backyard so the birds will be happy and visit once more.

I am so thankful for good friends, family, and most importantly, for the best husband a girl could ever ask for.

Cheers to good health and much happiness to everyone!
